INTRODUCTION TO MANDARIN TRAINING CENTER
The Mandarin Learning Center is a subsidiary of the School Lifelong Education at Yuan Ze University. In 2023, the MLC opened its doors to teach Mandarin as a foreign language to local foreigners. YZU's Mandarin Learning Center in Taoyuan City welcomes students from all over the world to study Mandarin Chinese in a friendly and comfortable environment. The Mandarin program at MLC has four levels to meet the needs of a wide range of learners. In addition to learning Mandarin effectively, our students will also learn about traditional Chinese culture and customs to enrich multicultural literacy.

Established in 1989, Yuan Ze University may be young by traditional standards, yet it has been recognized as a model for newly emerging universities within the shortest period. As the first and the only university to win the National Quality Award in 2003, Yuan Ze received an award from the Ministry of Education for the Teaching Excellence Project in 2005. Successively, it has been designated by the MOE as one of the top 12 universities in Taiwan, receiving an award for the “Aim for the Top University and Elite Research Center Development Project” since 2005.
