課程目標
依      據 教育部「專科以上學校推廣教育實施辦法」辦理。
課程內容 Statistics, or at least its concept has become necessary in the modern society. It is also the gateway to various new technologies and methods, such as big data and artificial intelligent (AI). This course will be the introduction to social statistics. It takes two semesters to fully understand the surface of social statistics. This semester will be the first. This course will use R, a free and open-source statistical computing language that has become the dominant statistic tool throughout the progress. It will start by introduction to R and statistics, R and its concept, using R/R studio (R markdown if possible) to write and read R program, basic descriptive statistics, drawing graphics, plots and tables. Sampling and hypothesis testing will be followed.
